01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Located near Yotsuya Station, Ryūgetsu-en provides a relaxed setting focused on pure domestic Kuroge Wagyu yakiniku. A key appeal here is the table service: staff members turn the meat over the wire mesh grill themselves, ensuring each cut reaches its ideal point of doneness.

The evening lineup features negi-kalbi—marinated beef ribs wrapped around crisp scallions for a cleaner finish—alongside select harami (skirt steak), rare cuts like tanmoto (beef tongue base), and premium assortments showcasing several cuts on one platter. House-made kimchi, seafood jeon, and tofu jjigae are also popular, offering plenty of variety between rounds of grilled beef.

Lunchtime brings hearty combination meals, including a loin and kalbi set as well as grilled meat paired with mini naengmyeon or mini tofu jjigae. With spacious table seating and private rooms, Ryūgetsu-en accommodates casual daytime meals, though booking ahead is advisable for dinner.
